In 2005 with the kind permission and support from Lancashire County Developments Ltd ICL05 was located in a former disused bank, that had lay vacant for some years.

As a key building in the history and future development of Preston, it seemed like the perfect location to base ourselves and to highlight one of the cities hidden and forgotten gems.

The venue was cleared from being the former banking hall and transformed into a series of room sets and environments, including a living room, bedroom, dinning room, office/study, café/bar, with the addition this year of a bathroom and children's room. Each environment complete with the appropriate furnishings: for example a bedroom will include a bed, the relevant linen and soft furnishings, a dressing table, artwork, wallpaper, fashion, jewellery and lighting. Presenting the collection of work in this way allows one designer's contribution to be displayed in a way that compliments and enhances another's.
